One of the hardest things also to control when surfing web pages is
unwanted "pop-up" web pages and web page advertisements of
varied nature. Simply close out browser windows you do not wish to see
or read. In some cases webmasters and companies have used a programming
technique that causes repeated "spawning" of a web site's
"featured" web pages. Many times the information contained
in these pages include things like a request to play a game, or buy
something, or a page that asks you to join a host web site, or the like.
In cases where the web pages are continuing to spawn and pop-up in your
browser the only way to stop this occurrence is
to totally quit your browser and then restart the web browser again.
NOTE: If you find any web site links that over use this
programming technique or have a link to what you judge to be objectionable
and/or offensive, please report them to me as soon as possible with
the link address and what you experienced and we will first temporarily
remove the web link from our links web page and then report the information
to the external web site's published contacts. You may and should
contact them as well. If the problem is not corrected in a reasonable
and timely manner, we will then permanently leave off the link to the
external web site page or, most likely, the entire external web site
from our suggested
links list.
